As I seem to spend most of my time growing, picking, preserving, preparing and of course eating fruit and vegetables I thought it would be a good idea to keep a diary of my produce over the year as well as a few recipes.
This is all about food grown at my allotment (and sometimes my Dads!), in my garden (and sometimes my Dads!) and foraged from the local hedgerows.
It’s also about finding tasty ways to eat whatever it is you’ve got: a chance find in the hedgerow, a good crop, a not so good crop or leftover jams, chutneys and preserved food from previous harvests.
